Hyde Park’s Elm Park Advisory Council has started a Hyde Park Walking Club. \Meet other Hyde Parkers who are interested in walking for fitness and fun. We'll meet up every Sunday in Elm Park under the gazebo, at 5215 S. Woodlawn located behind Kimbark Plaza, to walk around the beautiful Hyde Park Neighborhood. We are a non-competitive walking group. Hyde Park Area Parents is a group for moms and dads who discuss the "fun" of parenthood, plan meet ups, socialize, and create a community for our children. While our kids become friends, we can have conversations. Playdates, story time, parties, lunches, museums, classes, MOMMY/DADDY NIGHTS OUT- just some of the fun meetups in store. Parenting is far from simple, so why not have support from the mom you see at Starbucks or the dad who frequents the same park as you?
